With the development of economy,there are more and more modern city complex buildings.Big base and multi-tower structure is a popular structural type of the complex buildings.Huge volume and complex dynamic behavior are the salient features of these structures beyond the specification limits.So it is very important to study the seismic performance of these buildings.Dynamic elastic-plastic time history analysis is the primary method to explore the seismic performance and performance-based design of big base and multi-tower structure.Hence,it is important to study the dynamic elastic-plastic time-history analysis of these structures.Several aspects of the research have been carried out as follows:(1)Progress of dynamic elastic-plastic time history analysis and seismic analysis method of structures have been summarized.(2)On the basis of large scale general finite element analysis software ABAQUS,methods and difficulties of time history analysis of reinforced concrete structure have been introduced.Such as the select of element type and material constitutive model,the simulation method of reinforced concrete members etc.Determination of orientation node of fiber beam element in ABAQUS has been analyzed in detail.Formula is used to calculate the coordinate of the orientation node has been put forward.The practicability of the method has been identified.(3)Principle of fiber reinforced concrete beam element based on the stiffness method has been described.The realization technique of fiber reinforced concrete beam element in ABAQUS has been discussed.Based on the concrete constitutive model in current code for design of concrete structures,user subroutine VUMAT used to define the mechanical constitutive behavior of concrete in fiber reinforced concrete beam has been developed.A reinforced concrete frame structure under earthquake excitation is regarded as research subjects The correctness of the subroutine and the feasibility of the simulation method of reinforced concrete members have been verified.(4)A practical big base and multi-tower structure is taken as an example,seismic behavior analysis method,determination of over-limit issues have been illustrated.Analysis and seismic construction which are directed againstover-limit issues,two-lineto defend earthquake and force adjustment of frame shear wall structure,application of performance based design in this project have been described.(5)Dynamic elastic-plastic time history analysis of the structure has been carried out in ABAQUS.The analysis results such as displacements,story drift,base shear force which are the macroeconomic indicators of whole structure,and cumulative compressive damage,strain of frame column which are the microscopic indexes of structural members have been discussed.It has been shown that the structure can meet the requirement of no collapse under rare earthquakes.
