HTPE propellant is a kind of composite solid propellant which is considered most likely to replace HTPB propellant or PEG and PET propellant of NEPE propellant.It is of great significance to study the synthesis and application of HTPE hydroxyl terminated polyether adhesive,which is the main part to determine the performance and processability of the propellant.In this paper,HTPE hydroxyl terminated polyether was synthesized by oxonium ion living polymerization.And The reaction mechanism was discussed also.The reaction conditions,such as reaction temperature,reaction time,dosage of catalyst,feeding mode and the feeding ratio of prepolymer were studied by single factor method.And a effective way of post-processing method was founded aim at the production.The polyether was characterized by IR,GPC,1H-NMR,DSC.Characterization results shows that:under the reaction conditions,the polymerization of PTMG and PEG was occurred,and a kind of hydroxyl terminated polyether was synthesized in the form of homopolymerization.The ratio of prepolymer was nearly 1:1.The HTPE hydroxyl terminated polyether and TDI were polymerized to be prepolymer,then,crosslinked with BDO and glycerol to be as the HTPE elastomer by catalysis.The mechanical properties of the elastomer were tested and the reaction conditions were studied by the result.The reaction kinetics of HTPE hydroxyl terminated polyether with TDI and IPDI was studied by the method of di-n-butylamine titration.The kinetic constants and activation energies of the reaction of isocyanate with polyether of different molecular weight were calculated at different temperature and catalyst concentration. |
