Intelligent traffic system can effectively improve the efficiency of road network to solve the problem of urban traffic congestion and security.In the intelligent traffic control system,traffic statistics and network communication are two of the most basic requirements.The widely used IPv4 communication protocol can restrict the future development of ITS because of its less IP addresses,low security and other limitations so IPv6 new generation Internet communication protocol appears.The thesis studies the video target tracking algorithm to realize the expected traffic flow statistics through the intersection monitoring video,and designs a serial server and PC client that support IPv6 to reduce the cost of serial device outage,meet the development trend of Internet + and Internet of Things,which it has theoretical significance and practical application value to rapid development of ITS.The research originates from the "CERNET Innovation Project" guided by the science and technology division of the Ministry of education(project number: NGII20150306).The intelligent traffic control system uses single-point signal controller as the core,through the serial server to achieve network communications and the client real-timely monitoring the operation of the scene.The single point signal controller uses 51 single chip as the main control chip,modular design structure,a variety of control ways such as manual,automatic and remote ways and controls the signal lamps logic changes according to the stored menu.The thesis mainly designs the power board of the controller that makes 24 V power change into 12 V,5V power to supply to the other modules of controller and the driver board of the controller that extends the processor I/O ports,enhances the drive signals and isolates loads.The thesis designs the 40 * 40 cm LED lights,which use 12 VDC power,and each lamp has 121 LEDs with less than 1A current.The thesis studies traffic flow statistics algorithm based on video target tracking which the embedded fusion algorithm uses mathematical morphology to detect the edge of the target and the particle filter to predict the target to make Mean Shift algorithm's template real-timely updated and width of kernel function adaptable for the Mean Shift algorithm lacks the necessary template update,whose window width is fixed,and the simulation is carried out.This thesis designs a serial server that supports IPv6 which uses Direct-Net with IPv4 and IPv6 dual protocol stack as the core processing module.These are given that the design process of the power circuit,the serial port level conversion circuit,the RJ45 interface circuit and the LED indicator circuit,parameter configuration and test result of the serial server.In order to remotely monitor and control the running status of the field,this thesis designs the communication part of the PC client that supports IPv6 and the human-computer interaction interface,including the startup interface,the running interface and the menu writing interface,program setting interface and so on.The simulation results show that the video target tracking based on the algorithm has high robustness,accuracy and better real-time performance in the case of complex background changing,occlusion and other circumstances.In the system experimental platform,the single-point signal controller can make signal lights logic change with a local off-line way.In the IPv6 environment,the PC client can communicate with the single-point signal controller through the serial server to achieve the functions of remotely monitoring and controlling running state in the field.After testing,the reliability,stability,functionality and other indicators of system have reached the design requirements.
