The pile foundation is composed of pile and cap connected to the top of the pile.It is the most widely used basic form,which is mainly subjected to vertical load and horizontal load.In recent years,horizontal load,such as ship load,wave force,water force,gradually become an important factor,which should be considered in the design of port engineering and marine engineering,sometimes it even becomes their control load;In the urban construction,with the increasing number of high-rise buildings and the rising height of buildings,the horizontal load of wind and earthquakes are gradually becoming the controlling factors in the design of buildings.The horizontal bearing capacity and displacement calculation of building pile foundation are one of the important contents of the design.In the bridge engineering,due to wave,wind,ground motion,the impact of the ship and the vehicle load braking force,etc.,in addition to the large vertical load,the pile is often subjected to a largerlateral load,resulting in a more complicated pile.Because of the complex relationship between pile and soil system,more influential factors and randomly large,it is increasingly important to study the reaction characteristics of pile foundation under horizontal load.Firstly,this paper elaborates the research status of horizontal pile foundation at home and abroad and introduces the research methods of horizontal pile foundation.Then,the main modules,constitutive models and contacts of ABAQUS finite element analysis software are sketched.Finally,the ABAQUS finite element software is used to analyze the different mechanical properties of the common piles foundation and the doubles piles foundation with connecting wall under the horizontal reciprocating load,and it further discusses the law of the doubles piles foundation with connecting wall under the condition of changing height and thickness of the wall respectively.The following results are reached:(1)Adding the connecting wall can effectively increase the horizontal bearing capacity,the equivalent viscous damping coefficient,the moment value of each point of the pile body and effectively reduce the corner value of the joint between pile and cap of the doubles piles foundation;(2)When the height of the connecting wall is constant,the thickness of the connecting wall is directly proportional to the horizontal bearing capacity,the equivalent viscous damping coefficient,the moment value ofeach point of the pile body,and it is inversely proportional to the corner value of the joint between pile and cap;(3)When the thickness of the connecting wall is constant,the height of the connecting wall and the horizontal bearing capacity,the equivalent viscous damping coefficient,the moment value of each point of the pile body,the corner value of the joint between pile and cap are not single increments or decrements,they are wave relations;(4)Changing the thickness of wall is more significant than changing the height of wall to increase the the horizontal bearing capacity,the equivalent viscous damping coefficient,the moment value of each point of the pile body and reduce the corner value of the joint between pile and cap of the doubles piles foundation.
