In this article,we first analyze the behavior of two typical cylindrical projectiles(target and projectile)under high velocity impact in numerical simulation.We get the conclusion that in order to get the analysis of the behavior of two typical cylindrical projectiles after high velocity impact;we must start the research from two parts,first is the residual body of the target and projectile,second is the debris cloud.We also get the conclusion that the model of debris cloud can be built as a ellipsoid.Then,we start the research from the two conclusions and give systemic analysis of the behavior of two typical cylindrical projectiles(target and projectile)after high velocity impact.The details of the content include the following parts:1?Plugging mechanism of penetration and the coaxial collision theory of rod were used to analyze the behavior of two typical cylindrical projectiles(target and projectile)after high velocity impact,and theoretical model of behavior of the residual body of the target and projectile based on the conservation of momentum and the conservation of energy were put forward.The results of the study show that:1)When the distance of the center axis of the projectiles is constant,the motion parameters of behavior of the residual body have the same change low in frontal impact and not frontal impact along with the change of intersection angle.2)When the intersection angle of the projectiles is constant,the motion parameters of behavior of the residual body along with the increase of the distance of the center axis of the projectiles are the same as when the distance of the center axis of the projectiles is constant,but the intersection angle of the projectiles is increase.Then we realize the visualization of behavior of the residual body of the target and projectile and the debris cloud.2?The theoretical model of the debris cloud after high velocity impact of the target and projectile on the basis of the law of conservation of energy was put forward,and the number and mass of debris were estimated,the theoretical model of the debris cloud in this article are spherical shell model and ellipsoid shell model.We get the conclusion that the two model each have advantages and disadvantages,spherical shell model is universal,but is not accurate,ellipsoid shell model is more accurate,but has its range of application.3?The visualization of behavior of the residual body of the target and projectile as well as the debris cloud based on the above theoretical model were realized and the results of the visualization were analyzed.Then numerical simulation wan used to verify the theoretical models.There are eight working condition,we will calculate the state parameter of movement and analyze the variation trends and their reasons.We get the conclusion that the theoretical model is accurate when the intersection angle of the projectiles is small and the impact is frontal,as to the other situations,there may be some deviation.
