Hearing is one of the most important abilities of human's sensory,with the development of modern industry and the increased population of aged,the number of hearing impaired patients is increasing rapidly.Currently,hearing aids is the most common and effective way to improve the impaired patients' hearing.With the development of hearing aid technology,analog hearing aids is replacing by digital hearing aids to be commonly used in the field of hearing aid equipment,due to its excellent performance in all aspects.However,the research on digital hearing aids is still lagging behind in China.In recent years,the number of mobile intelligent terminal equipments was explosively increased,and the activity in the use of health care APP is also increased rapidly,which bring great opportunities in the mobile health care industry.In addition,intelligent terminal equipments involves all hardware components that a typical digital hearing aid should have,thus,it offers us the possibility to achieve the abiliby of hearing compensation on intelligent terminal equipments.Also,as one of the parts of health care,hearing compensation is enrolling into the field of intelligent terminal equipments.After summarizing the predecessors' work,this paper discribed an APP of digital hearing aid based on intelligent terminal,which involves the existed hearing compensation technology of digital hearing aids and the APP programing method.The main work discribed in this paper as follows:(1)Completed the design of the multi-band hearing compensation module and the frequency reduction hearing compensation module.The multi-band compensation module is divided into seven bands according to the auditory characteristics of human ear,the theoretical design of this module is based on the digital band-pass filter bank.Additionly,Java language was used to realized the filter bank.The method of proportional frequency compression was used to design the module of frequency reduction,and JNI technology were used to transplant the open source algorithm into the project.(2)Completed the test of the multi-band hearing compensation module and frequency reduction hearing compensation module.First,a test program was design to parse and generate WAV audio files.Then the WAV files that processed by the two modules were compared from different aspects.The results indicated that the two modules both can achieve the expected effect of compensation.(3)Completed the design of the digital hearing aid APP which chosen the Android system as a platform system.Completed the design of the interactive function and integrated hearing compensation module into the APP.(4)Completed the the functional test of the APP with an automatic test tool,inaddition,the non-functional requirements of the application also be verified.The test results indicated that there was almost no problem in the functional requirements,the non-functional performance also reached the expected goal.After completed the desgin of the digital hearing aid APP,some patients with hearing impairment once tried the APP,the response is quite satisfactory.but the patients also pointed out some shortage of the APP,which needs the future improvements.
