In recent decades,the technology of power electronic circuit has been developing rapidly,it has been widely used in the national economy,such as electric power system,energy system,communication system,space system,and so on.As the same time,the safety and reliability of the system of the power electronic circuit have attracted the increasing attention,and it has an important influence with the reliability of the whole system.It has high theoretical value and practical significance of the fault diagnosis of power electronic circuits.In this paper,based on the analysis of the characteristics of power electronic circuits,the fault diagnosis of power electronic circuits is carried out by using hybrid system theory.First,the analysis of hybrid system theory,including the structure and characteristics of hybrid system are introduced in detail,and of power electronic circuits commonly used in power electronic devices of structure,principle is introduced,and through the MATLAB to simulate the performance of electronic devices.Then,the modeling and analysis methods of hybrid system are studied deeply,and the common method of fault diagnosis based on hybrid system is presented.Finally,the typical circuit of the power electronic circuit system is used to carry out the proof and simulation verification.The mathematical model of power electronic circuits based on hybrid system is presented in this paper.The mathematical model is of general applicability in the establishment of power electronic circuit mode.On the basis of this model,given the power electronic circuit control change and change of concepts and laws,basic principles of fault diagnosis of power electronic circuits are thus obtained and the detailed diagnostic steps and specific implementationprocess.At the end of the paper,the Boost circuit and Buck circuit are used to verify the fault diagnosis principle which is given in the paper.
