As the key step of seismic design of tall building, the joints of the concrete filled steel tubular(CFST)columns have been the focus of the research for many years. This paper mainly expounds the common joints of CFST columns and reinforced concrete beam.Combined with the actual needs of the project, put forward a new type of CFST column-beam joint. The experimental study of the joints was conducted and the software ABAQUS was used to build the model for further analysis to explore the mechanical properties. In this paper, the following aspects of work:(1)Monotonic static loading test and cyclic loading tests were carried out on the new type of joint.Through the cyclic loading tests of one joint and two of the static load test, the influence of rebar ratio, different length and height of steel bracket and other factors were study on the joint failure mode and bearing capacity.(2)The experiment phenomena were summarized and the mechanical capacity of the joint was discussed detailed. It shows that the joint have food mechanical capacity.(3)By using ABAQUS,the finite element model(FEM)was founded to simulate experiment condition.Comparing the analysis results with experiment, the finite element analysis was proved to reasonable and effective.Furthermore, the parametric analysis was conducted on this joint, with the consideration of different design of beam, column and steel bracket.
