Flutter is a kind of extremely destructive wind-induced vibration of long-span bridge,so scholars of bridge wind engineering focus on study of long-span bridges wind-induced flutter control.In this paper,steady suction is used to improve long-span bridge flutter stability,wind tunnel test and numerical simulation which based on computational fluid dynamics are used to reseach the effectiveness of steady suction on long-span bridge flutter control,and to explore flow control mechanism of bridge flutter steady-suction control.Specific research work includes:(1)Steady suction control parameters are defined,the implementation of steady suction control method in box girder bridge structure is discussed,the occurred mechanism of long-span bridge flutter is analyzed based on the separated flow flutter theory and the results of the existing literature.(2)Free vibration test identifying system of flutter derivatives is set,flutter derivatives identifying test on the Great belt bridge girder rigid segmental model is carried out,the steady suction influence on flutter derivatives is analyzed,the effectiveness of steady suction for improving the flutter stability.the influence of the change of the steady suction control parameters on the effectiveness of bridge flutter control is discussed,and the optimal steady suction control parameters are obtained.(3)The numerical simulation on the flow field of the Great belt bridge girder rigid segmental model harmonic vibration is carried out,the flow field features around the bridge girder and characteristics of the aerodynamic wor k under the action of steady suction are analyzed,the effectiveness of steady suction on bridge flutter control is proved,the mechanism of steady suction flutter control is explored preliminarily.
