With continuous development of the automotive industry and the growth of ownership.Although vehicle bring convenience for human,energy and environmental problems which have been caused by the vehicle can not be ignored.Therefore,electric vehicle has become a hot spot for car prices and universities.In this paper,based the four wheel drive motor electric test vehicle,we have studied its core control components —— vehicle controller unit(Vehicle Control Unit,VCU).Based on analyzing the structural characteristics and functional requirements of the four-wheel drive motor electric test vehicle and the relationship of VCU's subsystems,the data transmission mode.The design scheme of the four-wheel drive motor electric test vehicle VCU has been put forward.Using Freescale's MC56F8006 development board for VCU master module.According to vehicle controller unit function requirements and MC56F8006 on-chip resources,at the same time,we consider the hardware design circuit electromagnetic compatibility and anti-jamming capability design requirements,vehicle power system,input signal conditioning,CAN(Controller Area Network,CAN)communication and other modules of the system design have been completed by using the Proteus and Altium Designer software.According to requirements of the vehicle drive control system between the systems' signal interaction,the modular design is used to systematically design the underlying driver software of VCU and complete the vehicle control through CW for MCU v10.4 software platform software design.In order to ensure safe and reliable VCU test,not on the car before the test have been done before using VCU on the vehicle,We have done the hardware and software debugging work for the vehicle controller power module,switch module and analog signal conditioning module in the laboratory,in order to verify the rationality of the design;And then we used VCU for the four wheel drive motor electric test vehicle,The VCU function is verified by manipulating the key switch,gear switch and accelerator pedal.The test results show that: VCU can correctly read and send data,meet the test vehicle normal forward,reverse and acceleration driving requirements.
