Since the spatial steel grid cassette structure of the new system was put forward by academician Ma Kejian,theoretical research and engineering practice of this new structure system get rapid development and our country to place a large number of cassette structure building in recent years.There is no beam or column in the interior building of cassette structure,which makes the space layout free and beautiful,and saves the height.The vertical system and the horizontal system are the dense rib steel mesh structure,the internal force distribution is uniform,the bending moment and shear force value are greatly reduced,and structural spatial behavior is strong.Compared with conventional steel structure,box structure can save more steel,seismic performance is better,new system of cassette structure showed bright prospect and huge space for development.To study the seismic performance of cassette structure composite joints and the influence of concrete layer on joints,the pseudo-static test of two composite side column joints and two bare steel side column joints were carried out.The loading mode of cyclic loading on one end of hollow truss far from the H-shaped steel column is used.The experimental phenomenon,mechanical property,failure mode,hysteretic curve,ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the specimen were analyzed and compared with each other.The experimental results indicate that compared with bare steel joints,composite joints have higher bearing capacity and secant stiffness because of the tension action of rebar under negative moment and the compression action of concrete slab under positive moment.It can satisfy the ideal failure mode of earthquake resistance that two plastic hinge failure occurred the end of the hollow truss near the H steel column under low cyclic loading.The load displacement hysteretic curves of hollow truss end is stable and shows a reverse S shape,demonstrating that cassette structure composite joints have good energy dissipation capacity and that cassette structure has a slightly larger shear deformation and a slip between the concrete layer and hollow truss.Cassette structure composite joints and pure steel node has high capacity,good ductility,good seismic performance.
