Bearing chamber is an important part in aero engines,the research of two-phase flow in the chamber will help improve the efficiency of the engine lubrication,improve the working performance and reliability of the engine.On the premise of full investigation about the research progress in two-phase flow in the bearing chamber and the identification of gas-liquid two phase flow pattern around the world,the following work have been done:Numerical simulated the uniform flow and stratified flow in aero engine bearing chamber using Mixture and VOF model,then analyzed the bearing chamber flow field distribution in different location,the results show that the flow field distribution in the top and bottom of bearing chamber are the same but different in the front and rear.Besides,got the bearing chamber fluid velocity and pressure distribution under two kinds of flow pattern with the change law of speed,oil and air mass flow.Primary analysis of the difference about velocity and pressure under two different flow pattern distribution in the basis of fully understand the distribution of the two kinds of flow pattern,and analysis the condition about the characteristic parameters difference at the two points in the condition of two kinds of flow pattern on the change of the flow field,The results show that the pressure can be used as characteristic parameters to distinguish two kinds of different flow patterns.In addition,in view of poor cooling effect about the bearing when the miniature unmanned aerial vehicle is running with a high rotating speed,theoretical analysis and calculate the main heat source of bearing chamber,and numerical simulate the temperature field in bearing chamber,distribution of velocity,pressure,temperature and trace chart in bearing chamber are obtained.Then analyses the influence of the working condition on bearing cooling effect,and puts forward the optimized solution.
