Flywheel battery for vehicle is a new vehicle battery,and it can store energy in the form of mechanical energy by the high-speed rotation of the flywheel rotor.In order to improve the performance of flywheel battery for vehicle,the influence of cross feedback control strategy,variable bias current mode and cross feedback control strategy based on variable bias current mode on the dynamic performance of vehicle flywheel battery system is studied in this paper.The mathematical model of the flywheel rotor system is established.And the coupling effect of the radial freedom caused by the gyroscopic effect in the flywheel rotor is analyzed.The cross feedback control strategy is designed to decouple the coupling term and eliminate the adverse effect of the gyroscopic effect.The effect of cross feedback control effect is verified by mechatronics simulation of ADAMS and Matlab-Simulink.The variable bias current control strategy is designed to dynamically adjust the bias current according to the rotor speed of the flywheel.And it can reduce the energy loss of the active magnetic bearing under the condition of ensuring the stable operation of the system.This paper designs a cross feedback control strategy based on the variable bias current method.It can combines the advantages of the two control strategies together,The control algorithm programming and control parameter setting are completed.The actual control effect of the cross feedback control strategy based on the variable bias current is verified through the high speed rotation test.The results show that the cross feedback control strategy based on the variable bias current method can effectively reduce the energy loss of the magnetic suspension bearing under the condition of ensuring the stable operation of the system.The flywheel battery for vehicle have better dynamic performance with the cross-feedback control strategy based on the variable bias current method,compared with the incomplete differential PID control algorithm.
