The satellite power system is the heart of all electrical equipment on the Satellite,which is the key system for power generation,storage,conversion,adjustment,transmission and control.Due to the fact that the on-orbit life of the Satellite is directly determined by the design of the satellite power system,its technical level has a direct effect on the development of satellite industry.To deal with the unicity problem of the existing architecture,this manuscript proposes a distributed satellite power system architecture,which increases the diversity and practicability of the satellite power system.This project studies the design of the satellite power system architecture based on the characteristics of the existing satellite power system.The manuscript begins with the presentation of the domestic and foreign researches on the current power system architectures and proposes a distributed satellite power system architecture based on the three-port converters(TPC),which is developed from the summaries of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing architectures.In the first section,the circuit topology and the control strategy of the TPC which constitutes the power system of the Satellite are analyzed in detail.Taking the distributed satellite power system constituted by two TPCs as an example,all possible operating modes are discussed and the effective control strategy of the system power is proposed in the following section to achieve a smooth and stable switching in different operating modes.In the next part,one involved TPC module is taken as an example to present a detailed analysis and design from the part of hardware and software.The hardware section mainly contains the design of main power circuit,auxiliary power supply circuit,sampling and regulating circuit,driving circuits of power switches and digital control circuit;the software section mainly contains the design of the main software architecture of the proposed system and the controlling algorithm of the key sections.At last,the test results of the prototype for the proposed single-node power system are presented along with the improvement methods.The simulation verification and experimental test indicate that the proposed distributed satellite power system achieves the steady operation during the strong light state,weak light light state and no light state.
