| With the development of China’s domestic civil aircraft and put into operation,for aircraft structure which was independently developed,the airworthiness certification and management had been increasingly important.In order to meet the requirements of airworthiness compliance,structure-related anti-bird impact design had become a focus of research in the field of airworthiness,because of the serious impact on flight safety and unavoidable.Since the bird impact test used to verify the design of bird strike was expensive,therefore,it was possible to optimize the design,evaluate the safety and reduce the test by establishing the finite element simulation model.In this paper,a finite element simulation modeling was carried out for the front wing structure of the aircraft,and on the basis of the simulation results,the analysis and safety evaluation was also studied.Firstly,the bird’s body geometry model was studied,the shape and size of gelatin bird model was studied based on requirements for bird’s weight in airworthy regulations.Since the bird showed the characteristics of the fluid in the process of high velocity impact,the state equation of the bird’s hydrodynamic model was described as its material constitutive and the bird model was discretely processed based on smoothed particle hydrodynamics method.Secondly,the anti-impact resistance of aluminum alloy materials and fiber reinforced metal laminates composites under different fiber ply angles and compositions was studied mainly in terms of the energy absorption characteristics and damage size.And according to the results the structural materials were optimized selected.Thirdly,combined with the research results,a complete study of bird-strike on empennage leading edge was carried out from three-dimensional model building to finite element modeling and simulation analysis.And according to the numerical simulation results,the structural damage under different impact energy,especially the damage of key structural components,was analyzed and compared.At last,the safety of bird-strike on empennage leading edge was evaluated from qualitative and quantitative aspects based on airworthy regulations and the existing methods of compliance verification.The research results could provide the reference for following studies. |
