Today, the mature development of scientific and industrial technologies has promoted the vigorous development of petrochemical industry, coal chemical industry and refrigeration industry, making cryogenic valve increasingly applied. Nowadays,cryogenic valve is generally made mainly of austenitic stainless steel, and untreated austenitic stainless steel is in a metastable state under low-temperature conditions. For a material under low-temperature conditions, cryogenic treatment needs to be performed to ensure its stable lattice position. Meanwhile, the size fluctuation should be gradually decreased to enhance the material's corrosion and abrasion resistance, so as to ensure a good applying condition. The cryogenic treatment process of cryogenic valve has drawn increasing attention from all professions and trades.This paper presents a research on the cryogenic treatment process of austenitic stainless steel in cryogenic valve and falls into six parts: Part 1 is an introduction,which points out the background and significance of the research, analyzes the domestic and foreign research actualities, and makes a specific analysis and discussion on the objective and content of the research. In Part 2, computer software is used to simulate cryogenic treatment of austenitic stainless steel model, and an empirical formula is used to determine a heat transfer coefficient. Then the cooling time after cryogenic treatment of the test piece model is predicted through dynamic numerical simulation. Part 3 outlines the basic requirements for the experimental equipment of cryogenic treatment, conducts an actual experimental analysis on the cryogenic treatment process of austenitic stainless steel plate based on the simulated data generated in Part 2, sums up the experimental results, corrects the heat transfer coefficient, and points out the key points of cryogenic treatment of austenitic stainless steel. In Part 4, cryogenic treatment is performed of the test piece based on the above two parts. This part studies the physical properties of austenitic stainless steel, and analyzes the changing rule of test piece properties after different durations and times of cryogenic treatment. Part 5 investigates the concrete cryogenic treatment process of the austenitic stainless steel in cryogenic valve, summarizes the types and performance of austenitic stainless steel according to the specific working conditions and rational material selection, and then carries out a detailed discussion and summary of solution treatment and cryogenic treatment. Part 6 presents a summary and prospect, which summarizes the research conclusions, and prospects the future research.
