mart materials or structures and emerging associated technologies have led to theconstruction of increasingly complex structural systems,which may exhibit strong nonlinear behavior under earthquake.If a linear system is used to model the system in simulation,the modeling error must exist.Due to some factors,such as external environmental disturbance,structural aging or defects in component,the controlled system will contain uncertainties or some of the system parameters are time variant.And the complexity of the structure or the lack of equipment leads to the fact that not all structural states are measurable,which increases the difficulty for vibration mitigation.To reduce the modeling error caused by the uncertainties,it is necessary to update the simulation model in real time by updating the uncertain parameters in the model based on the limited measurement state.In the paper,study on adaptive control design for nonlinear structural vibration incorporating uncertainties using active mass damper is carried out.Details of the main contents are summarized as follows:1.The Bouc-Wen model is used to model the inter-layer restoring force of the structure.The active control force of the AMD system is calculated by using the sliding mode control and the model reference sliding mode control.Different control objectives are designed based on different control objectives,and the control effect is verified by simulation test.2.Under the premise that the internal parameters of the three-layer nonlinear frame structure are invariant and unknown and only the structural acceleration can be measured,the UKF is used to estimate the structural displacement and velocity state and the unknown parameters of the structure.The improved UKF is used to verify the effectiveness of the control effect considering measurement noise and time varying parameters.3.A nonlinear problem is transformed into a linear problem by the feedback linearization control method and the form of the control force is simple and easy to derive compared with the sliding mode control.Because the load is the main part of the control force calculated by this method,a study of load identification is done in this study.4.The last part of work is to combine the control of AMD system with state and parameter estimation.The UKF works as a nonlinear observer to identify the uncertain parameters and estimate the structural states.Based on the estimated information by UKF,thecontrol system is used to determine the control law and sliding mode control method based on model reference control is used to control structural nonlinear vibration.
