Virtual Reality Realization Of The Installation Process Of The Armour Units On Slope Bank Protection

Virtual Reality(VR)refers to series of computer technologies to generate the realistic images,sounds and other sensations that replicate real world.In recent years,the VR technology,which has been applied widely in different areas,is gradually playing a major role in simulation,optimization and quality assurance in construction industry.There is no doubt that the VR technology has promoted technological development and brought great economic benefits at the same time.This paper takes the installation process of the artificial blocks of slope bank protection during the construction process of reclaimed artificial islands as example to introduce the realization of the installation process of hollow square and dolos.Through the modeling software such as 3ds Max,Sketch Up etc,the basic models of the slope bank protection,dolos,hollow square and crane are established singly and in combination during the construction process of the slope bank protection of reclaimed artificial island,and imported into DVS3 D to establish the scene of the installation process of hollow square and dolos.The installation process of the armour units of the slope bank of artificial island are exhibited three-dimensionally,the method of manipulating models and realizing the effect of Human-computer interaction are introduced through using DVS3 D to edit and render the path of the models.
