Cracks are common in concrete dams.It will reduce the strength and stability of the dam,affect the durability of the dam,damage the integrity and impermeability of the dam,and even harm the safety of life and property.Therefore,it is of great significance to monitor the cracks of concrete dams in time.The basic way of crack detection is to use manual detection.It is time-consuming,laborious,inefficient and will reduce the warning of the monitoring system.The application of machine vision can solve the above problems.Through real-time monitoring of concrete dam cracks by machine vision system,we can obtain crack information timely and effectively,and provide a good basis to take timely preventive measures.This paper will study the crack monitoring system of concrete dams based on machine vision.The system mainly includes concrete dam crack monitoring hardware system and concrete dam crack monitoring software system.Hardware system is used for image acquisition of concrete dams.Software system is used for crack image processing of concrete dams,and obtains the target crack characteristic parameters.This article completed the following work:1.This paper establishes the concrete dam crack monitoring hardware system.The system mainly includes image acquisition systems,motion control systems,lighting systems,power supply systems and computers.The main equipment includes industrial camera(model MER-200-20GM),industrial lens(model M3514-MP),slide,tripod,laser range finder,LED light source,power supply,network cable,router,computers,MATLAB software and image acquisition software.2.This paper establishes the concrete dam crack monitoring software system.It is based on digital image processing,with MATLAB as the software platform.Crack image processing mainly includes image reading,image preprocessing,image segmentation and feature parameter extraction and so on.3.Application example analysis.The system is used for image acquisition and image processing of concrete dam cracks.And we can obtain the characteristic parameters of the target cracks.It verifies the feasibility and practicability of the system in the monitoring of concrete dam cracks.The system lays the foundation for establishing and improving the concrete dam crack monitoring system.
