Active Aeroelastic Wing has been widely used in aviation technology with its characteristics on substantial buckling and torsional elastic deformation under control of system.With continuous development of smart materials and structures,more and more scientists tend to use intelligent materials especially piezoelectric materials for deformation control of wing.They have incomparable advantage over traditional mechanical structure in weight,durability flexible and other aspects.Typically,there is a kind of smart piezoelectric fiber composites—MFC,which has sensitive drive and sensing properties that make it has been used widely especially vibration control and shape control of structure.The research on the deformation of the wing under drive of piezoelectric actuators has important theoretical and engineering significance.In this paper,according to the need of research and development for active aeroelastic wing,piezoelectric fiber composites active aeroelastic wing wind tunnel model as the experiment object,its active deformation effect under drive of MFC has been investigated and hope to draw conclusions that has directed significance based on these research.In this paper,the main work is analyzing the influence of active deformation on the scale model under drive of MFC with voltage load,manufacturing the morphing wing scale model and completing the ground test and wind tunnel test with bonding MFC actuators.Finally,the sophisticated analytical method of active deformation on morphing wing scale model can be formed through simulated analysis results was verified by these data of ground test,which can be used on similar research of morphing wing in the future.The simulation analysis and experimental verification show that the thermal-elastic analogy method,which was set up based on similar constitutive equation between piezoelectric material and thermal elasticity,is a feasible and effective method of simulation analysis for active deformation of morphing wing driven by piezoelectric fiber actuator.Active deformation of morphing wing scale model driven by MFC is approximately proportional to voltage.The greater active deformation and the torsion angle with voltage increasing.The farther the piezoelectric fiber actuator away from the fixed end of the model,the more it can play its driving effect.At the same time,in the wind tunnel test,MFC actuators can still produce certain drive effect on the morphing wing scale model In the presence of wind load,which make the roll torque of wing change obviously that not be affected by wind load.
