With the increasing power of highly efficient electronic-devices,the heat flux on surface of devices is increasing,and in some extreme conditions,the heat dissipation of electronic equipment is more difficult,the damage rate of equipment is greatly improved,and the field of aviation and defense requirements are very high,which limits the scope of the corresponding equipment.About 1/5 of the failure of modern military electronic equipment is caused by the excessive heat flux of electronic devices.The heat pipe heat exchanger technology,with its strong heat transfer ability,good temperature performance,plays a crucial role in efficient heat dissipation and strong advantages of wide adaptability and reliability in small and integrated form of electronic devices.This paper introduces the development and change of heat pipe since its invention and the present situation of practice research in recent years.Based on the summary of the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of heat pipe,a new type of heat pipe is designed and its performance is tested in order to investigate the performance of heat pipe,the experimental research on the heat exchanger was carried out.The visual heat pipe test rig was designed and made.The specific research results include the following aspect:(1)According to the related working principle of heat pipe heat exchanger and the effect of thermal resistance to make visualization experiment platform,which has stable heating,adjustable inclination angle measurement points,accurate datacollection.Each part is processed and assembled.(2)Design heat exchanger with prismatic bottom plate,According to the experimental condition to choose the refrigerant inside heat pipe filling and the heat pipe wall material,at the same time the heat pipeis vacuumized and filled with refrigerant.(3)To study the performance of the heat exchanger with prismatic bottom plate under different conditions.The influence of different heat flux density,inclination angle,liquid ratio and heat dissipation on the start-up performance of the heat pipe was studied by the curves of the temperature and the temperature of the evaporator.(4)Study on the heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger with prismatic bottom plate under different working conditions.The effect on the heat flux,different tilt angle,flushing rate,heat dissipation of heat pipe during stable operation of thermal resistance,heat pipe found in the stable operation,the existence of the best angle and the best flushing rate,in the condition of heat pipe heat transfer performance of the best.(5)Observe and analysis the factors that affect the performance of the heat pipe,such as the boiling of the working fluid in the heat pipe,the generation of the bubble in the page and the temperature distribution on the surface of the evaporator.
