Along with the development of highway network,the construction of motorway was more and more related to hills and mountain areas,slope protection had also been underlined.The properties of different slope protection technologies varied from one to another.In order to obtain the best protection effect,based on the analysis of the Engineering and Ecological protection technology,considered the characteristics of the expressway slope in mountain area,this thesis aligns with the experience of motorway's slope protection,directed at the applicability of popular slope protection technology,made researches about applied area,applied slope and the technical effect.Putting forward a kind of new sand-consolidation material with potassium water glass as the main additives,directed at the status of poor stability of sandy slope and existence of deficiencies on slope of ecological protection.It overcame most shortages of other techniques,and was environmentally friendly and green.We conducted some laboratory experiments and researches,with unconfined compressive strength characterization of sample strength,test results showed that the performance and durability could meet practical needs,engineering application had also proved that it had excellently curing effect.About effect evaluation of slope ecological protection,the paper analyzed those theories,principles,methods of evaluation and methods to determine index weights.Considered the normal evaluation methods,based on the theory of gardens,landscape and botany,we determined to adopt the analytic hierarchy process and synthetic index method,and evaluated the ecological protection engineering quality and effect.Based on the theory and practice experiences,this paper selected three-level index,totaled of 14,determined the weight of every index by AHP,based on the function of slope protection,the construction conditions,ecological and landscape effect,and established evaluation system and models of mountain areas expressway ecological protection engineering quality and effect that based on analytic hierarchy process and synthetic index method.Finally the ZhangCheng highway slope protection engineering was evaluation based on this model,got the evaluation grades of protective effect,and the usability of the appraisal model was verified through actual examples.
