In China’s current rapid urbanization process and social change,public space is also increasingly important in the city,but the urban public space presents a variety of contradictions led to the lack of humanized public living space is becoming increasingly evident.This paper takes the streets,squares and parks in the central area of Lhasa as the object of study,starting from the ten core dimensions of public space publicity,discussing its public status,trying to explore the effective promotion of urban public space quality and enhance the public space public design method.It is designed to help create a well-defined material space for public space.This paper starts from the concept of "public space" and "public space public",distinguishes the meaning of "public space" and "private space",then discusses "public space publicity" and discusses the existing public space A series of contradictions and revelations of public nature to summarize the current and domestic literature on the public space on the public dimension and evaluation model summarized,summarized as ten core dimensions: ownership,central and connectivity,gallery,facilities,Sectors and entrances,facilities,control,management,use(activities),mobility and meaning.At the same time,the ten dimensions were scored and expressed by multi-axis model,and the system of public space public judgment and evaluation was formed.Then the paper takes Lhasa 6 typical public spaces: Barkou Street and Yu Tu Road,Potala Palace Square and Jokhang Temple Square,Kung Kok Lukang Park and Yao Wang Shan Park as a specific research object,and its history Evolution to explore the study;At the same time,the paper investigates the ten dimensions of the six typical public spaces,and obtains the problems of the typical three public spaces in Lhasa streets,squares and parks,based on the general problems and revelation.Finally,according to the above problems of the public nature of the six public spaces,the paper puts forward the solutions and strategies to optimize the public space publicity from the angle of architecture and planning and design.
