Design And Implementation Of Traffic Video Vehicle Detection And Tracking System

With the development of intelligent transportation,in order to build a safe city,we must solve the problem of urban vehicle theft and loss.In this paper,the design and implementation of traffic video license plate detection and tracking system,the system of the first shot to establish traffic bayonet photos of license plate image,the color of the extraction,morphological processing,connectivity analysis of the three fusion methods of extraction of the license plate;then by horizontal and vertical projections on the rough segmentation of license plate characters,combined with the character of texture the license plate features,prior knowledge of adhesion,coarse segmentation in split character judgment,the adhesion,split spacing characters using vertical projection method;then using SVM classification method for character recognition;finally in recognition based on the realization of the vehicle trajectory tracking.The main research contents are:(1)the analysis of the existing license plate extraction method,the problem of the poor effect of extraction for the license plate,the color of the extraction,morphological processing,connectivity analysis three fusion method to obtain candidate regions of license plate extraction,using the gray method to determine the upper and lower boundary and vertical projection method to determine the boundary of eliminating the non plate region.(2)the analysis of the existing license plate recognition method for similar character recognition of license plate in the problem of low rate,using SVM to Chinese characters,English letters,digital identification,character of Chinese characters of black pixels,centroid extraction scanning Chinese characters character anyway write Na characteristic;the combination of letters,numbers and English using SVM encoding error correcting output the construction algorithm,encoding matrix,can solve the English letters and similar digital character recognition rate of.(3)the study of vehicle tracking method,license plate number and license plate number database will be tracked by the identification of good matching,using Baidu maps API,the search results on the map,and Baidu map line function,display the vehicle trajectory.
