Compared with the spherical optical components,the aspheric lens can simplify the shape,reduce the cost of system,and can specially correct the aberrations such as spherical aberration,astigmatism,coma,field of curvature,and distortion generated in the light transmission process.For the shortage of introducing other new aberrations when using aspheric lens to eliminate the spherical aberration,the characteristic analysis and correction theory of the aberration for spherical lens is studied.A new optimization design method of spherical single lens to simultaneously eliminate the astigmatism,field of curvature,and the spherical aberration is proposed in this thesis,each aberration and the image quality of the whole system before and after the optimization of the single aspheric lens are compared,the whole image quality of the lens system is optimized.The main contents and achievements of this thesis are as follows:(1)Based on the aberration theory,the resulting mechanism and correction methods of each aberration including sine difference,spherical aberration,chromatic aberration,coma,astigmatism,field of curvature and distortion are analyzed.Through the optical image principle,it is found that the fundamental reason for the existence of spherical aberration is that the parallel beam emitted from one point can not focus on one point,and the design idea of using the aspheric surface to correct the spherical aberration is proposed based on the aberration theory.(2)An aberration correction theory of aspheric optical system to simultaneously eliminate the astigmatism,field of curvature and the spherical aberration is proposed based on the analysis of the initial structure of the spherical lens system,the problem that using the aspheric lens to correct the spherical aberration in the previous design introduces other new aberrations is solved.(3)The optimal design system to eliminate the spherical aberration is realized by aspheric lens.Various methods such as resolution,point chart,Rayleigh judgment,Stoller judgment(center point brightness),and optical transfer function adapting to the optic systems for image quality evaluation are studied,and the standard of the image quality evaluation of the system is constructed.(4)The image quality before and after the optimization is assessed,the point chart,MTF curve,distortion,field of curvature,and Saide coefficient graph of the spherical and aspheric lens are simulated,which indicates that the system has the advantages of simple structure and excellent image quality.The method proposed by the thesis can eliminate the spherical aberration existing in the spherical lens system,can provide theoretical and technical support for the further realization of the complex optical system design as well.
