Research On The Airworthiness Review Of Landing Gear Shimmy Test And Flight Test

On the airworthness review of landing gear shimmy phenomenon,as part of the airworthiness compliance verification methods,test and flight test have played a key role for the final shimmy airworthiness review result.This article,based on LMS Virtual.Lab simulation environment,finish a certain type of aircraft shimmy test and flight dynamics modeling and simulation.Moreover,according to shimmy motion equation,finish a shimmy mathematical modeling and simulation in Matlab environment.Extract the key factors of airworthness review through the influence of the different parameters to the results in the simulation.The main contents are as follows:1?Review previous research results,summarize the research situation of the domestic and foreign airworthiness of shimmy test and flight test.2?Detailed describe the dynamics modeling theory and method based on LMS Virtual.Lab simulation environment,establish a certain type of aircraft landing gear shimmy test and flight test dynamics modeling.Then analyze the influence of column stiffness and clearance to the shimmy angle changing with time curve in the shimmy test;according to shimmy critical stability definition draw the shimmy stability region curve;and compare and analyze the laboratory test and flight test of shimmy simulation curve,summed up the differences.3?considering nonlinear factors such as oil compressibility,using Matlab finish a shimmy mathematical modeling.4?The simulation results of LMS Virtual.Lab and Matlab show that the type of the landing gear is on a shimmy stable situation in the airworthness review working condition;column stiffness,clearance and so on have an influence on the results of the shimmy test simulation;tire cornering stiffness,shimmy damping coefficient have obvious influence to test and flight test results of simulation.Finally combining the shimmy airworthiness safety analysis,CAAC choice test or flight test to airworthness review,and pay attention to the above points during the process of review.
