In order to solve the increasingly serious energy problems and improve the world environment,countries all over the world are making great efforts to develop clean energy.Due to the wide distribution,increasingly mature technology and relatively low cost,wind energy is becoming the fastest growing clean energy in the world.Wind energy has the prospect of large-scale and commercial development.The reliability,stability,operation efficiency and cost of wind power generator are of great importance to the further promotion and application of wind power generation technology.Based on the experience of series of low MW doubly fed induction generator,this paper mainly designed and presented the 6.6kV and 5MW doubly fed induction generator.Firstly,this paper introduces the background and significance of the topic.Then,the status and development of wind power technology are introduced and analyzed.Based on the summary of the advantages and disadvantages of various types of wind turbines,the key technologies of high voltage doubly fed induction generator are discussed and studied.Secondly,it describes the system constitution and operation principle of doubly fed asynchronous wind generator.The details of equivalent circuit diagram of the generator is discussed.Based on the equivalent circuit and phasor diagram,the power flow direction and the power characteristics of the generator are analyzed in detail.Thirdly,based on the analysis of the operation principle and characteristics of doubly fed induction generator,the basic operational parameters of the motor are determined,and the design of stator and rotor cores of doubly fed induction generator is completed.As an important part of magnetic circuit and circuit,stator and rotor winding design,is the focus and difficulty of this design.Fourthly,according to the shape and size of the effective part of the motor determined by electromagnetic calculation and the relevant parts,the structural design of the generator has been finished,with reference to the design experience of the factory.Mainly include the overall structure of the motor,structure,parts of the shape,size and material,some connections between the parts of mechanical connection and the mechanical property of parts.At the same time,the optimal design of the rotor lead out structure of this type generator is carried out.Finally,the characteristics of doubly fed induction generator are analyzed and verified through the key experimental points.From the experimental data,it can be seen that doubly fed induction generator can guarantee the output frequency and voltage constant by adjusting the rotor excitation under the condition of the speed fluctuation.The feasibility and rationality of the proposed design method are verified by simulation and experiment.
