| Helium leak detecting is a common non-destructive testing method for fuel rod manufacture technology.It used the helium inside of fuel rod as spike gas,to determine the content of helium by the mass spectrum lab of helium leak detector,and the purpose for this is to inspect the quality of fuel rod surface and welding area,which can insure that fuel rod tightness meets the specification and rod works normally in the reactor.In the base of automatic production line grows gradually,fuel rod was taken as research object in this thesis,fuel rod automatic leak detecting system was designed and manufactured,and the leak detecting process and system are all validated by qualification,the detect ability and the system reliability were also assessed.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Based on the demand of fuel assembly automatic production line,it proposed the fuel rod helium leak detecting system design scheme,and performed researches and tests for automatic detection technology,verified the feasibility of system development and application in the end.(1)Design scheme was proposed according to the specification and the production layout,and key technical issues were discussed.(2)It described the mentality of designing and structure for mechanical parts of helium leak detector,and proposed the hardware design scheme according to actual situation,including the vacuum chamber,the transfer device and so on.(3)Air actuated control system was designed and optimized as needed.It proposed data monitoring function in quality inspection software to ensure the reliable data and stable operation.In addition,integration testing for MES system,inspection line and helium leak detector were performed and optimized.(4)It established the product reject limit for fuel rod and process reject limit for equipment according to the specification,and determined the process parameters which influenced the process,and established the automatic leak detecting method for fuel rod at last. |
