The paving of asphalt pavement is stratified.The method of paving makes the contact between layers more complex.The existing pavement structure design is based on the theory of multi-layer elastic system and assumes that the interlayer interface is completely continuous or completely smooth,which is obviously different from the actual state.But the assume situation is different from the actual situation.Therefore,it is very important to accurately grasp the interface characteristics between asphalt layers in order to obtain a relatively accurate mechanical response in the asphalt pavement structure.There are many scholars studied between layers of the asphalt layer interface,but these studies mainly focused on the temperature and tack coat spill cloth quantity’s influence on the interface between the layers and the study of the impact of the vertical force is not enough.It is feasible that analyzing asphalt roadbed mechanical characteristics under temperature effect without considering the vertical force of interlayer interface characteristics.But it not suitable for asphalt roadbed under vehicle load stress and strain analysis.In order to further understand the interface between the asphalt surface layer under vehicle load characteristics,in this paper,on the basis of existing research results,through laboratory test,applying vertical load on the specimen,and based on the Goodman model,analysising the interface between asphalt surface contact between the vertical loading condition.With the reality of our country the asphalt surface features,this article selects the different experimental temperature,different gradation,mucous layer oil consumption,different oil types and different vertical compressive stress,using laboratory UTM universal testing machine and to reform the test fixture,has carried on the interlayer direct shear experiments;The basic change rule of the interlayer characteristics of the mixed material under different conditions is obtained.The effect of vertical force on interlayer interface characteristics is significant.With the increasing of vertical force,the bonding state of interlayer interface willchange greatly,and the maximum bonding coefficient of the layer will change greatly.On the other hand,in the case of the vertical load invariable,the influence of temperature and tack coat consumption on the bonding state of interlayer interface is larger: with the increasing of temperature,the peak of interlayer bond coefficient decreases.With the increasing of the amount of tack coat,the interlayer bond coefficient changes obviously with different temperature.In addition,according to the test results,this paper recommends a optimal tack coat consumption of each layer under the condition of vertical load.
