Underwater target recognition has always been an important part in underwater acoustic engineering research,and underw ater target recognition technology based on acoustic scattering theory has been develop ing rapidly in recent years.As an important feature of underwater target echo,the effect of extraction from geometric highlights feature often plays an important role in id entifying targets for an effect.However,the processing of tar get geometry highlights in the tim e domain,frequency domain will be limited by the resolution,which makes it d ifficult to p roduce identification.Therefore,the tar get echo at the time-frequency domain characteristics,com bined with the W igner-Hough transform,as a method of extracting highlights underwater targets.First,starting from the theory,through the introduction of underwater acoustic scattering theory leads to dif ferent methods of feature ex traction,specifically discusses the feature of geometric highlights characteristics extraction in Wigner-Wille distribution,and explains the cause and feature of cr oss-term through theoretical derivati on.On this basis,we use Hough transform to remove the cross-term of the Wigner-Wille distribution.In the tim e-frequency domain by gathering characteristics of different target geometry highlights of distribution and chirp signal,com bined with Hough transform to graphics edge detection feature for Wigner-Wille distributions from self-items extracted and cross-term suppression.From a practical persp ective,the research comes up to specific im plementation steps to removed cross-terms using Hough transform in Wigner-Wille distribution.In accordance with established procedure for signal processing simulation geometry highlights,results show that the method based on Hough transf orm for Wigner-Wille Transform in different situations have a better self-item recognition.To further verify the Hough tran sform Wigner-Wille cross-term suppression,this m ethod took expe riments,through the Hough transform-based processing of tar get echo experim ental data are analyzed in dif ferent situations Hough transform for Wagner-Wille suppress the cross-te rm effects from items extracted,eventually obtained by the method of Hough transform highlights in underwater target feature extraction application effectiveness.The processing of the expe rimental data is to establish a Hough transform geometric characteristics of a 360-degree target model,comparing with the highlight model of the target,receive the co nclusion that they have the sam e geometric characteristics to provide a reference and a basis parameter for further underwater object recognition.Finally,on this ba sis,verify the Hough transfor mation method through the data processing of lake and sea test.
