| Icebreaker will use different way to break the level ice in the process of breaking ice,The fracture and failure of ice directly affects the size of the ice loads in the process of breaking ice,With the development of nonlinear finite element analysis method and the intensive study on the physical and mechanical property of sea ice and the proposal of three-dimensional multi-surface failure method of sea ice make the using of the numerical simulation method to calculate the ice loads and structural stress in the process of collision between icebreaker and sea ice become a feasible way.The issue of icebreaker structural strength is the critical factor in the icebreaker design process.So far there is not a suitable method to solve the issue of icebreaker structural strength under ice loads.Icebreakers and polar ships which navigate in ice cover area need to meet the requirement of ice class rules,so the development of an icebreaker structure strength direct calculation method which based on the ice class rules is very necessary.The main contents include the following points:1)To study the physical and mechanical property of sea ice,build an numerical simulation method to calculate the ice loads and structural stress.2)Base on both the empirical formulas method of ice loads calculation and the numerical simulation of ship ice collision,this paper proposes an ice loads calculation method which applied to the strength analysis of the icebreaker structure.3)an icebreaker structural strength direct calculation method which based on the ice class rules,propose a dynamic strength response analysis method of icebreaker structural,give an assess conditions of icebreaker structure strength.4)Establish a calculation method of dynamic amidship moment in the process of breaking ice which based on the numerical simulation of ship ice collision,at last give an analysis method of longitudinal strength of the icebreaker hull. |
