Underwater acoustic standard instruments are very important components in underwater acoustic metering and measurement,in underwater acoustic metering field,the underwater acoustic standard instruments are often used to deliver acoustic values.In comparison calibration of vector hydrophone,a standard pressure hydrophone is used as a metering standard instrument to deliver pressure value,thus makes the calibration result's accuracy relatively lower,so the demand of standard vector hydrophone becomes more and more strong.In this paper,the structure of traditional co-vibration vector hydrophone was simulation optimized based on its design theory to meet the high sensitivity and wide work band demand of standard vector hydrophone,and the structure size of the standard vector hydrophone was determined,then the standard vector hydrophone was made.Absolute calibration of the standard vector hydrophone's sensitivity was conducted.Directivity,temperature stability and static pressure stability of the standard vector hydrophone was measured,and the uncertainty of the calibration result was calculated at the end.The diameter and the length of the standard vector hydrophone designed in this paper are ?42 mm and 173 mm,the sensitivity element of it is a piezoelectric accelerometer.The sensitivity of standard vector hydrophone is-172.3dB(200Hz,0dB=1V/ ?Pa),and the A class uncertainty of the calibration result is 0.13 d B,also the resolution of its directivity on every frequency point is bigger than 20 dB.Measurement results shows that: standard vector hydrophone has a high sensitivity and a wide work band,and also has a high sensitivity stability,so it can be used as a underwater acoustic standard instrument.
