Vibration and noise is always accompanied with mechanical when it is working.So the optimization of vibration and noise is very important due to they will influence the performance of work.In order to effectively control the vibration and noise of gearbox,this paper will takes of study as follows:Take research on the prediction of structure of gearbox with the finite element method(FEM),boundary method(BEM)and statistical energy analysis(SEA)has been conducted systemically,and the gearbox structure noise has been predicted,in terms of which some reasonable structure improvements has been proposed.In detail,this paper establishes the acoustic model on the base of FEM,BEM and SEA.Based on the modal analysis of gearbox,the thickness of housing are changed determined according to structural modes.The dynamics of box are gotten by mode analysis,sensitivity analysis and harmonic calculate.Then the structures which are in need of improvement are shown out.Vibration and noise characteristics are calculated under the actual conditions,and then optimization suggestions are obtained.The accuracy of numerical methods and results are verified by testing experiment.Secondly,it is considered to optimize the box by sound-absorbing and damping material without changing the structure.After that,it shows out the best solution when the analysis and research haven had been finished.The third to installation vibration isolation mass on the base of impedance mismatch.Different types of vibration isolation mass are designed.Then the results of vibration characters will be presented when different types of vibration isolation mass have been installed on the box.Eventually,a research on optimization design method of gearbox vibration and noise reduction has been complicated.This paper compared the results of calculate and date of experiment,then analyzed the effects of different methods on vibration and noise characters.After that,this paper toke damping material and sound-aborbing structure in low frequency.On the opposite,the vibration isolation mass are taken in high frequency.At last,effect of design about vibration and noise reduction on box are assessment.The research of vibration and noise reduction on gearbox are taken by theoretical analysis,numerical calculation and test experiment.And the different methods in details of 3 schemes about vibration isolation mass are confirmed.The results showed us that numerical calculation has certain practically on large marine mechanical.At last,all measures are combined that the best scheme is verified.
