As one of the basic projects in the construction project,the earthwork and stonework occupies an important position in the construction of the project.As an important link of control project investment,project budget and construction arrangement,the calculation of earthwork quantity is directly related to the progress of the project and the cost of the project.It is directly related to the vital interests of both parties.Only the accurate earthwork calculation results can be carried out objectively and impartially to estimate the cost of earthwork,so as to control the cost and the time limit effectively.At present,there are four methods to calculate the earthwork quantity,which are the contour line method,the grid method,the section method and the DEM method.This paper has the typical characteristics of Wannan mountain topography Guquan station earthwork engineering actual situation,from the three aspects of the implementation steps and calculation results,the accuracy of the calculation principle of the above four kinds of earthwork calculation methods and application scope.The basic theory and model building method of digital elevation model(DEM)are mainly introduced,including its basic characteristics,classification methods,interpolation methods,scope of application and data acquisition.By using Arc GIS software platform,the digital Gao Cheng model of irregular triangle net(TIN)is discussed and the application of earthwork in engineering practice is discussed.Through the calculation and comparison,it is found that the accuracy of DEM method in earthwork calculation of the earth and rock works of the ancient spring converter station is obviously higher than that of other methods,but its accuracy still has room for improvement.In order to achieve the maximum accuracy,this paper analyzes the causes of the error of digital elevation model,and focus on the resolution of the DEM aspects,mainly from the two aspects of terrain roughness and slope of DEM resolution.The terrain roughness is mainly using the ratio of the actual area and projection area of terrain surface as a measure of slope factors,Arc GIS software using three order inverse distance square weight difference algorithm based on the selection of different resolution generated on slope scale effect curve,analyzes the influence of different DEM resolution on the.Finally,the optimum resolution of the digital elevation model of the earth and rock works of the ancient spring converter station isobtained by sampling experiments,and the final calculation results are optimized.
