With the development and progress of society,more and more attention has been paid to time and punctuality has been a standard to determine persons' family education and individual accomplishment.About punctuality,it is necessary to have a precise reference time.While even for the high-end and luxury watches,traveling time error still exists.Take mechanical watches as example,and it is of very practical significance to fast and real-timely measure its traveling time error and revise it in time.Under this background,this paper develops a portable measuring instrument for traveling time precision of mechanical watches.The system achieves the real-time measurement of the traveling time error of the mechanical watches by converting the acoustic signal into electronic signal,acquiring signal continuously and computing the relevant time delay estimation.Firstly,this paper introduces the development principle and significance of this system,combined with the development state of the mechanical watches traveling time precision measuring.Next,the design of the system scheme and the construction of the hardware platform are mainly discussed which includes the conversion circuit of the signal,the conditioning and amplification circuit,the acquisition circuit,the data processing module,power supply and display module.The whole hardware platform takes TMS320F28335 of TI Incorporated as the core.The acoustic signal which is received from the vibration of mechanical watch core enters the gain amplifier circuit.After being conditioned and filtered,the signal is converted to digital signal from analog signal by AD7762,a 24-bit parallel sampling chip,and sent to the DSP.As the main control chip,DSP is used to control the acquisition of data,the preprocessing of the data,the external circuits and the operation of relevant time delay estimation of the received signal and get the time delay estimation value of the target signal.The accuracy of the system algorithm is examined by conducting the same algorithm operation to the known signal input by the waveform generator and after completing examination of the accuracy of the system algorithm,the measurement results will be displayed on the LCD screen.The measuring precision calibration of the instrument is completed by comparing the measuring results with the most precise watch calibration instrument in the market,Watch Expert ?.The system uses a +5V single power to supply power,by the power conversion module to optimize the system power supply structure,meet the system needs of multi-voltage power supply and achieve the portable,low power system design.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of the hardware platform and the software algorithms,and the overall system tests.By analyzing the test results,this system has the advantages of higher real-time measurement accuracy,simple configuration of working mode.This system can meet the precision measurement of traveling time of most mechanical watches and is low power and stable and reliable.
