High-voltage breaker which has the long air gap,increases the stroke of the movable iron.Therefore,the air-gap of the movable iron and static iron is also increased.Since coil current is much larger and results in a series of problems such as thermal rising which limits its applications in high voltage field.In view of the above situation,the paper presents a new type of permanent magnet actuator for high voltage vacuum circuit breaker and designs a control system.Experiment is carried out to verify theoretical analysis.The work of the paper is of great significance to promote the application of permanent magnet vacuum circuit breaker in high voltage field.The paper designs a novel kind of multi-coils bistable permanent magnet actuator based on the analysis of several common high-voltage circuit breakers and actuators and compares it with traditional bistable permanent magnet actuator,partitioned circuit bistable permanent magnet actuator.Simulation model of permanent magnet actuator is built in Ansoft software.According to the characteristics of multi-coil permanent magnet actuator,control strategy is designed,dynamic performance of different control strategies are simulated.Control system design for permanent magnet actuator is carried out.The control system includes hardware and software.The hardware uses DSP as the main controller.The hardware mainly includes the following,the DSP processor module,the power supply circuit,the capacitor charging circuit,the coil drive circuit,the capacitor voltage acquisition circuit,the circuit breaker ON/OFF state acquisition circuit.The software is composed of upper computer and lower computer programming.The upper computer mainly includes data display module,parameter setting module and sub-closing control module.The lower computer mainly includes data acquisition and processing module,coil opening and closing control module and communication module.An experimental platform for 126kV high voltage vacuum permanent magnet circuit breaker is built.Under the different control strategies,the experiment of breaking and making is carried out.Through the analysis and comparison of a large number of experimental results,it is found that the coil current of the permanent magnet actuator is small,and the breaking and making velocity can meet the requirements of the vacuum tube.The breaking and making velocity has a certain controllability and meets the design requirements.
