| Belt conveyor is a kind of logistics conveying device widely used in all walks of life.In the fault monitoring system of long distance,high speed and large capacity belt conveyor,the real-time parameter monitoring method of point to point has been in general use.In this method,system sends out an alarm which indicates a system abnormality when parameter exceeds the threshold.As a result,false alarm and alarm failure are prone to occur.There is still a large degree of reliance on manual inspection.Based on the characteristics of this kind of control system,this paper use typical data and software algorithms to study the key technologies of on-line fault prediction and fault diagnosis.The main tasks are as follows:1.First,the paper discusses the belt conveyor structure and some common failures.Through analysing the problems of current fault monitoring system,the paper finally lock the key points of the research.2.After detailed discussion of the fault diagnosis method,including expert system,fuzzy fault diagnosis method,fault tree diagnosis method,neural network diagnosis method and other modern fault diagnosis methods,this paper puts forward a BP neural network fault diagnosis method based on parameter prediction,and designs an online control strategy.3.Based on the fault diagnosis strategy proposed in this paper,the implementation steps of the fault diagnosis methods are discussed in detail.On the basis of the main system characteristic parameters including belt speed,instantaneous transport volume and motor current,simulation researches are conducted with multiple operation conditions of normal operation,off-tracking,slippage,and material accumulation.It verifies the characteristics of advanced prediction for fault diagnosis methods in this paper.4.Based on the fault diagnosis method in this paper,the belt conveyor control system and the host computer monitoring system are completed.The functions of on-line fault prediction and fault diagnosis have been proved feasible in the laboratory.The method of on-line fault prediction and diagnosis proposed in this paper is more advanced than that of the general real-time fault diagnosis method,thus the defect of the off-line fault prediction method is perfected.If applied in the conveyor control system,the sensor layout can be simplified,thereby reducing cost of control system.Besides,the control performance will be improved.As a benefit,the labor intensity of inspecting workers will be greatly reduced,major accident can be avoided as well.Conveyors tend to have longer service life and the comprehensive benefits of enterprises will be enhanced.The research of this paper can be a reference in practical engineering. |
