Power battery is the key component of electric vehicle,hybrids and fuel cell vehicles,which have a great impact on the dynamic,safety and economy of the vehicle。economy and security of the whole vehicle.To insure the battery operates safely,reliably and keep the battery under good condition,an active Battery Management System(BMS)is imperative.BMS manages the battery based on the state of it and instructions from vehicle management system.Battery voltage,current and temperature can be mesured directly by sensor,while other states such as SOC has to be estimated indirectly by a certern algorithm,involved in which are the battery model and parameters.The battery model and parameters provide the basis for hardware in loop simulation and SOC estimation,and provide reference for battery management and control.The traditional excitation test – HPPC test for the battery model and parameter identification,so far,can not be verified whether the HPPC test is a continuing and relevant of the incentive.Being based on the studying and the reviewing of the existing battery model and the identification method of model parameters and identification incentives,the paper is designed a new identification of the continuing relevance of incentives-M sequence and validated its effectiveness through the identification of models which can estimate the battery SOC more accuratly.First,the simulation part of the paper is based on the thesis given in the equivalent circuit model parameters of the battery power to build the simulation model.The simulation model is uesd to study as the basis for the M sequence Current incentives related properties and methods of design.The paper want to be builded a complete the parameter estimation methods of battery equivalent circuit model,and be verfied the effectiveness and reliability of estimates of parameter identification of incentive in the Matlab / simulink environment.Second,basing on the simulation process to established a series of research methods,the paper is uesd the lead-acid motive battery electric vehicles as a pilot study.During the test,M sequence current as the input,according the experimental data selected,the paper is used Thevenin equivalent circuit model of the battery for the object of the model parameter identification studying to the establish the dynamic battery model.Finally,the UDDS of cities road conditions as the validation tests for the model verification,the validation results show that basing on the M sequence current as the input being incomed the battery equivalent circuit model and the model parameters identification are reliable and effective,with good accuracy and more accurately estimated battery SOC.By on-line estimating the parameters of the power battery,it can effectively control the power balance of the power system,keep the power battery in the best condition,extend the service life of the battery and reduce the cost of replacement.
