The requirements of the motor speed performance for modern manufacturing are becoming higher and higher.The AC Motor speed control,especially the permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control is widely used in high-precision speed control occasions.Based on Rotor Field Oriented Control(FOC),the high performance speed control system of surface mount permanent magnet synchronous motor is studied in this paper.In the spatial coordinate system,the principle of FOC of permanent magnet synchronous motor is analyzed in detail by using space vector theory.The three-phase stator current is decoupled into the torque current and the excitation current in the rotor field oriented coordinate system by coordinate transformation.The two components are controlled to realize the control of the current vector respectively,and the effective control of the electromagnetic torque under steady and dynamic state.The high performance speed control is equivalent to the stable control of electromagnetic torque.Space vector pulse width modulation used in FOC PWM modulation,it is to generate a circular flux as the target modulation method.At the same time,the working mode of the inverter under space vector pulse width modulation is analyzed.The effect of dead zone on the formation of circular flux linkage is analyzed,and the dead zone compensation method is given.The speed control system based on FOC theory is designed.From open-loop speed control system to current closed-loop system,and finally to the speed and current double closed-loop system,is analyzed step by step.And the detailed design scheme of current loop is given.The control characteristics of different control systems are verified separately through the results of simulation with Simulink,and the good performance of designed speed-current FOC system is also verified.On the basis of this,the hardware and software of the system are designed.A prototype of the surface mount permanent magnet synchronous motor controller is developed and the experimental platform of the speed control system is built.The experimental results show that the designed prototype has good performance in steady and dynamic state.
