With the development of the industry and the improvement of people's living standards, the accumulation of waste glass is more and more, and only a small part of these waste glass can be recycled, most of them are buried in the way, which not only takes up valuable Land resources and environmental problems caused by the burden,so its scientific treatment and use is urgent.researchers have found a lot of ways to solve the difficult use of waste glass through continuous exploration and research: such as the use of waste glass for the production of building materials, concrete production and so on.At present, the more efficient way is to apply waste glass to concrete, its related research has made great progress, and mainly concentrated in the waste glass instead of coarse aggregate on the study. There are few studies on the use of waste glass into powder as a concrete admixture, especially in specific structural studies. In this paper, the basic mechanical properties and durability of waste glass powder concrete are summarized by some related experiments and reference to previous research results.Through the shear test of six reinforced concrete beams under concentrated load, this paper studies the influence on the stress state and deformation of the reinforced concrete beam exerted by the mixed waste-glass-powder quantity and concrete strength.through Mixed with different proportions of waste glass powder to replace the same volume of cementand by changing the concrete strength,to compare the failure modes of different specimens, the diagonal cracking load, ultimate load, strain, deflection, crack diagonal width, etc.Experimental results showed that: the shear failure mode of the waste-glass-powder reinforced concrete beams is similar to that of ordinary reinforced concrete beams;the cracking load of waste-glass-powder reinforced concrete beams is lower than the ordinary reinforced concrete beams;under the condition mixing the same quantity of waste-glass-powder,samples' shear bearing capacity increaseswith the increase of concrete strength, while the mid-span deflection decreases gradually;but at the same concrete strength design level, the shear bearing capacity of specimen decreases with the increase of the mixed waste-glass-powder amount, and the mid-span deflection increases accordingly. The shear bearing capacity of the waste-glass-powder reinforced concrete beams possesses the similar calculation security with these ordinary reinforced concrete beamsandit can be calculated by the formula used to calculate the shear bearing capacity of ordinary reinforced concrete beams.concrete strength has a great influence on the the diagonal crack width, and with the increase of concrete strength, the samples' diagonal crack width will be limited.the diagonal crack width of reinforced concrete beams increases with the increase of the mixed waste-glass-powder amount.Based on the experimental results and related theories,a formula which can be used to calculate the diagonal crack width of reinforced concrete beams has been given out.
