| Fuel oil is the power source of cars,it is crucial for every driver to grasp the situation of automobile fuelaccurately;the traditional automobile oil scale with three scale type instrument panel,the instrument reflect the fuel situation be rough by the oil level sensor limitations,so that the driver only have a rough estimate of the amount of oil,there is no precise terms.In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes a digital automobile oil measurement system based on the magnetostrictive principle,the subversion of the traditional oil measurement technology,it can not only achieve high precision auto oil measurement,and digital output level sensor is convenient for processing and display.design of the magnetostrictive transducer and high precision time measurement module are the most important two links,the design will have a direct impact on the whole system.This paper discusses this two problems and gives a feasible experiment scheme.The main work of this paper includes the following aspects: first,analysisthe development of the current automobile oil measurement system andseveral kinds commonly used liquid level measurement methods,at the same time analyzed their advantages and disadvantages;secondly introduces in detail the working principle and mechanism of measurement of magnetostrictive liquid level sensor;then give a detailed description for the construction of system,the hardware circuit design and software programming problems,especially gives the design and realization scheme of magnetostrictive transducer and high precision time measurement scheme in detail;finally tests the actual systemand analyzes the measurement error,and put forward reasonable calibration scheme.And the system application value was assessed,at the same time also gives the direction for further improvement of hidden problems and future upgrades to the system improvement.Through the running the actual test data of the system shows that the design of a digital automobile oil measurement system based on the magnetostrictive principlewith several advantages,such as stable operation,high measuring precision,long service life and low fault rate,fully meet the actual requirements of automotive fuel measurement system. |
