The Application Of "Ehavior Setting" Design Method In The Design Of Cultural Tourism Characteristic Towns

In 2016,the Ministry of Housing and Construction issued the first batch of 127 Chinese characteristic towns,and made it clear that by 2020 there would be 1000 Chinese characteristic towns be constructed.This year in 2017,also announced the second batch of characteristic towns.With the rapid development of construction of Chinese characteristic towns,what is the characteristic town means,how to build a characteristic town,we are still discussing.Facing a lot of homogeneous Chinese characteristic towns,how to design a characteristic town,especially the cultural tourist town,should to be studied.The characteristic town,as a humanoid,is influenced by various complex elements such as economic factors,cultural factors and social factors.Therefore,a characteristic town is an organic living body.As a result,the characteristic town needs a chief designer(or a long-term management of the town’s core team),the chief designer or team manage the town from the time the town form,And with the economic,social,cultural and other factors changing the town’s built environment to make the appropriate adjustments to ensure the continuity of its vitality,which requires a difference from the traditional design methods to guide the characteristic town design.In this paper,the "characteristic town" is defined as a human settlement,corresponding to the "place".Then analysis the situation of the current characteristic towns.According to the ecological psychology,"culture" is a motive to promote behavior,so it is attributed to human behavior.so we can use the "behavior setting"theory to analyse the character of the cultural tourist town,apply the "behavior setting" design method to the characteristic town design to guide the early design and the latter part of the operation and management.The main body of the thesis is divided into three aspects:"proposing theory －case interpretation-theory application".This paper first explains the correspondence between the theory of "behavior setting" and the spirit of place,pointed out that the essence of the spirit of place in the contemporary context is the "behavior setting"itself,the "character" expression mechanism of the spirit of place is realized by the design of "behavior setting".Design approach of the "behavior setting" is as follows:Research first,classify the way to predict "behavior setting",find out the operation model between behavior and the build environment.In the latter part,build the relevant adjustments according to the behavior of people and changes in the environment.In the case analysis section,this article will take Wuzhen town and Lingshan town as research subjects,using the "behavior background" design method theory to analyze the "character" of their places—regarding "synomorph" as"character",Finally,in terms of theoretical use,design "Lizhou Town" by "behavior setting" method.In this paper,the method of design "behavior setting" to express the the spirit of the place is the development of spirit of place,In modern times,places still need"meaning" and "spirit",though this spirit is no longer just something at a level that higher than material,but But a comprehensive concept of social,economic,cultural,and ideological influences.Secondly,with the "behavior setting" design method to guide the town design,it provides a specific method and approach for the design of the characteristic town.Moreover,this design method,from the point of view of human behavior,rather than the architect’s point of view,can ensure that the design of the cultural tourism characteristic town are in line with the needs of people.which decide whether a place attracts tourists,if there is vitality.Finally,the "behavior setting" design method is a long process,it contains the latter part of the maintenance and adjustment process after the completion of the build environment.
