At present,the application of cable-supported structures is more extensive,and this kind of structure has gradually become one of the most studied,the fastest growing and the most widely used structural system in long-span spatial structures.The cable force detection in the structure is always an important work and it is necessary to study the cable force detection method as the cable is an important part of cable-supported structures.This paper summarizes the concept,the classification of cable-supported structures and the development of cable-supported structures in China by reviewing literatures related to cable-supported structures.At the same time,the existing cable force detection methods are summarized,and the advantages and disadvantages of each cable force test method are analyzed.In this paper,the basic principle and research status of three-point cable force testing method are summarized.Based on the three point bending dynamometer,this paper studies the application range of the three point bending cable force test method,and gives the accuracy and scope of application of the three point bending method by analyzing the test results.This paper introduces the basic principle and research status of the cable force test method by frequency method,and sums up the practical test method of the cable force.The precision of the cable force test formula in Caofeidian Ore Terminal Steel Pipe Concrete Arch Bridge is analyzed and calculated.Based on the classical principle of cable force force test,a cable tension testing method based on cable tension is proposed to consider the flexural rigidity of cable and the influence of boundary.The method is based on the test of cable frequency.The feasibility of this method is verified by ANSYS finite element model analysis,single prestress strand tension test,single beam string tension test,and ring cable force test in the case of north dome project.
