Supercapacitor also known as electrochemical capacitors is a new type of energy storage device between the battery and the conventional electrostatic capacitor.Compared with battery,it has long cycle life characteristics,and a larger power density value,energy density,and no pollution to the environment.Compared with the conventional electrostatic capacitor,it has a higher capacitance,wide operating temperature range.Therefore,it is a more promising application of chemical power.Polyaniline?PANI?,as a commonly used conductive polymer electrode material,it has a wide range of sources,simple synthesis,low price and other characteristics have been widely used,but the conductive polymer cycle performance is not ideal.Metal oxide has a higher energy density than carbon material,and better cycle performance than conductive polymer.Manganese oxide and vanadium oxide can be significantly improved capacitance properties,however,most of the metal oxide conductive performance is not good.This paper prepared composite electrode material MnO2-PAn C of manganese oxide and polyaniline-carbon.The MnO2-PAnC shows high specific capacitance and cycle performance.In this paper,polyaniline-carbon?PAnC?is prepared by a simple method of low temperature oxidation and the best dosage of oxidizing agent sodium persulfate?Na2S2O8?is discussed.MnO2-PAnC composite electrode materials are prepared by liquid phase precipitation method.The optimum conditions of the preparation such as KMnO4adding,concentration of reactants,reaction temperature and dosage of PAnC is obtained.These are:slow drop of KMn O4 solution in the reaction system,the concentration of MnCl2 and KMnO4 solution are 0.3 and 0.2 mol?L-1 respectively,reaction temperature was 60?and the mass ratio of KMnO4:MnCl2:PAnC is 6:12:1.The high capacitance of MnO2-PAnC electrode can reach 459 F?g-1.SEM and TEM results show that the morphology of MnO2-PAnC materials are nanoparticles composed of thin film structure.Material,specific capacitances of MnO2,MnO2-C and MnO2-PAnC are 393,428.0,and 459 F?g-1 respectively which are calculated from the charge and discharge curve.The deformation of CV curve of MnO2-PAnC electrode is small under high scan rate cycle,showing good reversibility of the material.The results of AC impedance show that the small charge transfer resistance and high surface ion diffusion has obtained on MnO2-PAnC electrode.capacitance retention of MnO2-PAnC electrode is still higher than 60%after 500 cycles of charge and discharge.All the experimental results show that MnO2-PAnC as supercapacitor electrode material has good capacitance properties and cycle performance.
