The shortage of water resources in northern China,with the development of economy,the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources has become a major problem in water conservancy engineering,especially in the area of seasonal frozen region,lining structures of freeze-thaw environment prone to cracking and collapse in the soil,seriously affect the safe operation of the canal,so study on the seasonal frozen area has very important significance to the failure mechanism of frozen area channel and related anti freezing measures of frost.This paper introduces two new channels,namely rectangular channels and L channels,the first indoor temperature model experiment of the rectangular channel,then the rectangular channel with finite element numerical simulation is carried out in complete contrast analysis and numerical simulation model,and numerical simulation of L type channel.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The frost heaving mechanism and numerical simulation of frozen soil are summarized,and the main factors of frost heaving are analyzed from four aspects of soil,moisture,temperature and channel.In this paper,we focus on the common measures of anti-freezing measures,such as water conservancy buildings,and so on.In this paper,we use the EPS particle light soil cushion as the insulation measures.(2)The model experiment is carried out for the rectangular channel.According to the actual use of the rectangular channel,the engineering geological conditions,hydrological and meteorological conditions and temperature conditions are investigated,and the appropriate scale is determined by the comprehensive similarity theory.The model experiment was used to test the effect of different dosage of EPS particle light soil cushion on the light weight soil cushion of EPS.(3)Numerical simulation analysis of rectangular channel based on model experiment.The temperature field and displacement field of soil under different content of EPS particles were analyzed emphatically.According to the numerical simulation results,the volume of freezing and thawing soil and melting rules are analyzed.The numerical simulation results are compared with the experimental results,which proves the rationality of the numericalsimulation method.(4)To carry out the numerical simulation of the new L-shaped canal.The residual stress and residual deformation of the soil after several freeze-thaw cycles were analyzed by numerical simulation.The results show that the L-shaped bottom plate is easy to be destroyed after the freeze-thaw cycle.The research results of this paper can provide some technical support for the promotion and use of related products.
