Eddy-current coupling has been widely used in various industrial transmission fields.It can realize dynamic transmission of power with superior properties such as no-load starting,stepless speed regulation and noise isolation.Parallel misalignment is one of the most common issues in the practical application of eddy-current coupling.Therefore,it is of great value to analyze the vibration performance of eddy-current coupling with parallel misalignment.This paper focused on the parallel misalignment during the transmission process of eddy-current coupling,established a mec;hanical transmission and constructed radial force model The driving torque and vibration response of eddy-current coupling considering parallel misalignment were verified by simulation studies and series of experiments.The results provided theoretical instructions for design optimization and engineering application.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.The transmission principle of eddy-current coupling was analyzed in the aspects of theory and simulation.The mechanical model of eddy-current coupling was developed,which was the foundation for studies of parallel misalignment.2.The transmission princple of eddy-current coupling was studied,and the corresponding theoretical expression of radial force was deduced.Furthermore,finite element model was constructed in accordance with Maxwell's equations,and the driving torque and axial force in the condition of parallel misalignment were analyzed.The radial force model was then established.3.With the lumped-mass method,conductive rotor system of eddy-current coupling was developed to get the systemic vribration response with parallel misalignment.In addition,by employing typical signal processing methods,vibration characteristics was analyzed to provide theoretical guidance for subsequent studies.4.Experiments on vibration of eddy-current coupling with parallel misalignment was carried out.By collecting and analyzing the data of driving torque and vibration response,the theoretical validity of radial force model and simulation of eddy-current coupling in parallel misalignment were comparatively demonstrated.
