The overall performance of the car is by design,manufacture and assembly.In order to protect the reliability and stability of automotive products in service,it requires the product to ensure that the functional components have a good design and manufacturing quality in the design and manufacturing processes.And more importantly is to further ensure that the product has the best overall performancebased on the functional components with high precision,high stability and high efficiency in the assembly process.In order to improve the quality of the car in the assembly process,this paper proposesto apply the machine vision to the automobile assembly process,and constructs a quality control system in the process of automobile assembly based on machine vision.At the beginning,this paper analyzes the process of automotive assembly process and the characteristics of the car assembly process according to the experimental project.And through this experiment,we get the analysis of quality control demandin the car assembly process.And then it introduces the OPC technology,SPC technology and expert systems of the quality control systemin the process of constructing automotive assembly.On this basis,the online quality control system in the car assembly process has been obtained.Then the paper analyzes the theory system of machine vision.It builds the machine vision hardware platform and gives the selection standard about the key hardware.In this paper,we introduce the common machine visionoperator,and on this basis,we study the measurement algorithm based on binocular calibration,the two-dimensional code recognition algorithm and the integrity detection algorithm.Based on the contents of our research,we designed and developed a quality control system based on machine vision in the automotive assembly process.The structure of the system is divided into quality data acquisition module,quality inspection module,quality control module and quality traceability module.In this paper,we described the architecture of the system and some database models,and developed the prototype interface for each module.The experiment uses machine vision technology to replace part of the human quality control process in the process of automobile assembly.It is not only stable and reliable,but also can save the time and cost of the enterprise at the same time,which can greatly improve the automation and intelligence of the enterprise.
