With the rapid development of technology and economics, rail transportation has been the most innovative and popular transportation.Besides, the traffic demand and energy consumption are increasing continuously in recent years. The way to make trains energy-efficient and punctual has been a hot research direction about rail traffic.Regenerative braking energy is an important factor which affects energy consumption of train. Therefore, this paper researches the usage of regenerative braking energy and connects the operation and dispatch of train, and establishes an integrated optimization model of the scheduling and control based on the multi-car full line system net energy consumption. Also, the model considers the tracking and overtaking behavior between trains with different speed grades and can guarantee the security of train. The model can find out the global optimum about operation energy consumption by optimizing train speed and schedule. On this basis, the integrated adjustment method of the scheduling and control considering delay has been proposed. The main work is as follows:1)Improves the existing regenerative braking energy utilization method. At present the feedback use of regenerative braking only calculates the regenerative braking energy utilization of overlap about traction and brake between two trains. This paper improves the existing regenerative braking energy utilization scope by calculating regenerative braking energy utilization of overlap about traction, cruise and brake between two trains. Finally, the corresponding calculation method is given.2)An integrated optimization model of the scheduling and control in Express/Slow train is proposed and established. In this paper,a series of models are established about multi-train considering complex train operation behavior with different speed rank.In addition, the constraint expressions of safe overtaking and the method that calculates tracking interval between trains based on the overtaking station layout are proposed. With the goal of the optimal energy consumption of the full line, the model optimizes the operation energy and the usage of regenerative braking energy at the same time,so it enhances the energy efficiency of the train immensely.Based on the case of Hangzhou East to Shanghai Hongqiao, the results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.3)Based on the above model,an integrated optimization model of the scheduling and control in Express/Slow train is introduced to study the influence on energy consumption in the condition of different overtaking stations and the ratio of different speed grade trains. The results show that the ratio of different speed grade trains and the location of overtaking station can affect the energy optimization of train.4)Based on the emergency situation such as train delay,an integrated adjustment method of the scheduling and control in Express/Slow train is proposed to optimize delay time and save energy. This paper summarizes the disadvantages of current research to improve the model.Firstly, strategy adjustment scheme on delay is introduced to determine the affected area by delay spread and the further area which can be optimized. Then an integrated multi-objective adjustment model of the scheduling and control is established, which can optimize delay time and energy saving at the same time. The weight coefficient can be set to determine the bias towards the goals by the situation of delay. The results show that the delay time of the train can be reduced with less increasing of energy consumption.
