Due to the particularity of its climate in freezing cold region,temperature differs between day and night,when rain or snow appears in winter,liquid water infiltrates into the pavement,the positive and negative temperature changes alternately,cycle of freezing and thawing occurs.After frequent cycle of freezing and thawing of the airport pavement,there are slight cracks in the surface of the pavement,and pavement peeling will occur when it is serious.The shedding fragments form the runway FOD,which seriously affects the safety of the aircraft's take-off and landing.Therefore,it is significant to reduce the damage of freeze-thaw in the pavement in freezing cold region,which is of great importance to ensure the safety of the aircraft.First of all,this paper found out the problems during the investigation through the pavement disease investigation of the airport in freezing cold region.This paper chose fuzzy mathematics multi-level model to optimize the investigation results because of different investigators had different criteria and different survey results.Secondly,this paper expounded the cause of the pavement diseases in airport of freezing cold region,and then pointed out the main cause of pavement diseases in the airport of freezing cold region which pointed to freeze-thaw,finally explained the process of cracking and slight cracks emphatically.Then this paper explored the the protective effect of siloxane material on concrete by simulating the freeze-thaw environment in airport of freezing cold region and conducting the test of cement concrete freeze-thaw.Test one showed protective effect comparison of ethylene glycol solution and siloxane on the freeze-thaw process of concrete testing.The advantages and disadvantages of ethylene glycol solution and siloxane were explored as well.Test two investigated the relationship between times and damage degree of concrete freezing-thawing.Four groups of comparative tests by using siloxane were set up to explore the damage caused by the cycle of freezing-thawing and the protective effect of siloxane on concrete blocks in 25,50,75 and 100 different cycle of freezing-thawing times.Finally,this paper attributed the main reason of frequent freezing-thawing cycle to the airport's insufficient removing snow ability in freezing cold region,put forward suggestions on improving the removing snow ability in freezing cold region and came up with some maintenance measures.Therefore,the cement concrete exploration test in this paper has practical significance for solving the pavement surface diseases in freezing cold region.
