With the expansion of battery energy storage capacity,some related research work is also ongoing.However,in the process of research,the model of energy storage system is more and more complex,which leads to the slow speed of simulation and the decline of research efficiency in the power system simulation containing energy storage system.In order to solve this problem,in this paper,the model of energy storage unit is set up,and the modeling method of the equivalent model of the energy storage system is proposed,which is based on the system structure and power characteristics of the battery energy storage power station.Two equivalent criteria are established for energy storage system in general control mode and energy storage system using virtual synchronizer control mode.Then,the state parameters of energy storage units that need equivalents are integrated into an equivalent energy storage unit.For the general control mode of energy storage system,clustering algorithm is used for equal division.And,for the energy storage system using virtual synchronizer control,The difference of power variation in energy storage unit is proposed as the equivalent criterion of energy storage system.Combined with the relevant state parameters of a battery energy storage plant at a given time,two equivalent partitioning methods are applied to divide the equivalent energy storage units,and all the above are reasonable results.According to the results obtained by the two equal value division methods,the corresponding equivalent model is established respectively,and using PV power data and optical storage scheduling data as simulation input,simulation analysis is carried out through matlab/sinmulink simulation software.Comparing with the active power characteristics of the equivalent model and the detailed model in the simulation results,the conclusion that the equivalent model described in this paper can replace the detailed model in a certain simulation time precision can be obtained.In order to verify the validity of the equivalent model,the contour value of the state parameters of the energy storage unit is used as a method to verify the clustering results,and the validity of the partition results is verified.At the same time,the validity of the simulation results is verified by establishing the power validation method of the equivalent model.In view of the complexity of the model structure and the slow response of simulation in the process of energy storage system simulation,the simulation of the energy storage system by using the equivalent model described in this paper can reduce the complexity of the model,improve the efficiency of the simulation,and be beneficial to the research work of the battery energy storage power station.
